I have suddenly become fascinated with the Hendrix tone and picked up a fuzz recently but now I am after a Uni Vibe and know nothing. Any recommendations for a Hendrix style UniVibe? Don't want anything too noisy when not playing, and this could be a fad so something less than £150 new or used would be great.

Under £150 you are looking at Digitech Ventura Vibe or Voodoo Labs Micro Vibe.
Great ones are pricey.

If you do fancy stretching your budget a little bit I have a Deja Vibe in the classifieds at a very reasonable price. It’s practically brand new and is the cream of the crop, I just figured out that uni-vibe wasn’t my thing.
How very rock and roll

the really top-drawer high-end ones are like the castledine, the Mayer (though it's not a "true" replica of a univibe) or the Sir Henry. i have a deja vibe, it's great, and you could probably get one for 150 if you're patient to shop/wait around for a deal.

Shin--EI Vibe Broiirc Tinsley/Sir Henry worked on the first lot of the new reissue Shin-Ei vibes but not the more recent ones. I think they posted on IG about having to fix a recent Shin-Ei, i don't know who is operating the brand or building the current vibes. i do know that Doyle Bramhall II was using the new Shin-Ei's when they came out but lately, it's a Sir Henry. I know where i'd put my money if i was making that choice

I had a 'Big Knob Vibe Tone' which totally nailed that chewy analogue vibe, they're not expensive if you can find one.

I have an MXR Univibe which does a decent enough job to my ears and sits on the pedalboard with no hassle.
£125 new and you could probably pick one up used off here.I don't think it's a 'true' replica, but I can defo get near some Hendrix and Floyd sounds and I believe analogue (which for some irrational reason is important to me.)I've not tried any others, so can't say how it compares.

Don't underestimate the MicroVibe (or the BBE, which is the same one rehoused)
Also to add to @soma1975 's list, my fave is the Roger Mayer VoodooVibe

The Voodoo Vibe is just ridiculously versatile and has a brilliant trem on it too.

Something about Mayer irks me. I think it was some of his press blurb talking about having made mods that he 'knows' Jimi would have approved of to one of his pedals. I sort of felt either offer the thing Jimi had or stop using his name for your advertising.
Petty, I know.

I have a Tinsley Audio Sir Henry en route. Dustin is an absolute pleasure to deal with. It's a pedal that's intrigued me for a long time, seems to be the many of the big guns are using and it looks and sounds class in the demo's. I'm over the moon to finally have one on the way.

The only vibe I've heard that measures up against vintage univibes is the Vibe baby by Classic Amplification. I sold my original univibe as this did the trick and then some.

Must admit, that was the other candidate, I've heard many good things about that pedal.

That does sound amazing. Would probably have to put it in a bypass looper just because a lot of the time I'd want to have the pedal in a preset speed setting.
