Majin Buu and the South Supreme Kai dashed straight for one another, headbutting in mid-air, only for Buu to teleport behind the Supreme Kai, kicking his back, then teleporting again to strike his shoulder. However, before the monster could react, South Supreme Kai grabbed him by his head, before bashing it against his own.
Majin Buu would attempt to counter with a kick to South Supreme Kai's head, only for the Kai to block the strike with his forearm, and when Buu would stretch his arm to punch him, South Supreme Kai would catch it with his other arm, pulling on it hard enough to rip it off.
Majin Buu leapt backwards to retreat, with South Supreme Kai turning back to him with a smirk, tossing his ripped arm back at the demon.
"I think this belongs to you..." South Supreme Kai taunted.
Majin Buu only grit his teeth, regenerating his lost arm, and tossing an energy blast at the Kai, only for South Supreme Kai to teleport rapidly, countering with his own energy blast, which easily overpowered Buu's. Majin Buu ducked to avoid the blast, only for it to whip around, curving, and aiming straight for him; at the same time, South Supreme Kai teleported, preparing to trap the monster in a bear hug, only for Majin Buu teleport from his would-be grip, and land a powerful kick to South Supreme Kai's neck. Flipping quickly, the Supreme Kai's blast returned to Buu's location, only for the demon to catch the blast in his mouth, before expelling the ki from his steam holes.
South Supreme Kai grit his teeth, preparing to return to his feet and return to the battle; however, unbeknownst to him, the severed arm of Majin Buu quickly melted into a goo-like substance. In an instance, the goo engulfed South Supreme Kai, trapping him within, before merging with Buu; transforming his body into a far taller, far more muscular form than ever before.
This story may seem familiar to one you know, but in this timeline, the circumstances were very different. Whereas in the timeline you know, South Supreme Kai was the third Supreme Kai attacked, and the first of two absorbed by Majin Buu, this was not the case here.
In this timeline, Bibidi's path would be slightly different, instead attacking the South Galaxy first, and would defeat and absorb South Supreme Kai from the beginning, which began a... horrifying pattern.
Bibidi cackled evilly, clapping his hands at the 'show'.
"Very, very good, Majin Buu!" he cheered, before tilting his head at his minion's transformation. "Now... what's this new trick you've learned..?"
Majin Buu said nothing, instead roaring loudly at Bibidi.
"Yes, yes, yes... Kill what you wish, I don't care..." Bibidi rolled his eyes, mock-responding to Buu's 'request', before perking up. "However, when we come face-to-face with another of those... Supreme Kai's..."
Bibidi grimaced as he said the title aloud.
"I want you to use that little trick of yours again..."
And so, this dreaded plan would be put into action; Bibidi and Majin Buu would continue to travel the stars, destroying anything Majin Buu wished to, traveling from one galaxy to another. Eventually, they would find themselves in the West portion of the universe, and face-to-face with the West Supreme Kai.
Majin Buu growled again, smashing parts of the icy mountains with the sound of his own voice alone, causing them to shatter into deadly icicles, which rained like hail. West Supreme Kai teleported rapidly, in her desperate attempt to avoid the falling ice, only for Majin Buu to quickly stretch his arm to grab her. He dragged her along, slamming her into multiple shards of ice, before bringing her to him, and slamming his forehead into hers, then trapping her in a bear hug.
Majin Buu then backflipped, powerbombing the West Supreme Kai into the mountains again, forcing a loud scream from the Kai. Finally releasing the Kai, Majin Buu held out his hand, preparing to finish off the barely breathing woman.
"Ah-ah-ah!" Bibidi's voice called out. "Remember our little agreement, Majin Buu! Use that little move of your's..."
Majin Buu growled at Bibidi, only for the sorcerer to snap back.
"How dare you speak to me that way! You forget I was the one who freed you from your little ball! Would you like me to put you back in there?!"
Majin Buu growled again, before turning away, and stretching his arm, his hand growing to size to cover the West Supreme Kai, before retracting, and absorbing her. With that, Majin Buu's body began to shift and change again; this time, slimming down slightly, not losing any muscle, but not being as excessive as before.
"Very good." Bibidi nodded his head, before smirking as he considered their next destination. "Now, let's continue."
"Fine." a growly voice replied.
Bibidi perked up, turning towards Majin Buu.
"What did you just say?"
"Me say 'fine'. We go now."
Bibidi's evil smile grew wider. He couldn't believe it! His theory had been right! When Majin Buu had absorbed those Supreme Kai's, he had not just gotten stronger, he'd gotten smarter, more intelligent. That meant if he absorbed more, he wouldn't be so damned impulsive! There was a chance he'd actually listen to his commands, instead of just going off on his own!
With this, Majin Buu and Bibidi would continue their journey, traveling to the North Galaxy, where Majin Buu would beat and absorb the North Supreme Kai, gaining even more power and intelligence, as well as developing better speech patterns, and an affinity for swords. Afterwards, they would travel to the East Galaxy, where East Supreme Kai (or as you know him, Shin) would suffer the same fate.
However, it would be after this battle, that another would appear, the most powerful of the Supreme Kai; Daikaioh, the Grand Supreme Kai. In many ways, this battle would spell a major change for the entire universe.
Daikaioh growled with his rarely-seen rage at Majin Buu.
"What... What have you done?"
Majin Buu replied calmly, almost void of any intent. "What I was told to do..."
Daikaioh gestured towards Bibidi.
"By him? You took thousands of lives because you were told to? You ripped my family's lives away because you were told to?"
"No! And that's the best part!" Bibidi interjected. "He did it all because he wanted to! Isn't that right, Buu?"
Majin Buu said nothing, almost a look of disappointment on his face.
"Right!" Bibidi answered for him. "Majin Buu doesn't do anything he doesn't want to do!"
As Bibidi continued to laugh evilly, Daikaioh continued speaking with Majin Buu; almost as if to level with the monster.
"I know there's good in you! A part of you knows what you're doing is wrong! You decide, not him!"
"Oh, blah blah blah!" Bibidi mocked, swatting the air with his hand, before calling out to Majin Buu. "No more talking, Buu! Absorb him! Do it! Do it or I'll seal you back in your ball, and you'll never get out!"
With that, Majin Buu took a deep breath, before dashing straight for Daikaioh, slamming into him and throwing him backwards. He held his hand to his right, before forming a large white ki blast and throwing it straight for the Grand Supreme Kai.
The Grand Supreme Kai, however, stabilized himself, before letting out a massive shout, causing a large barrier to surround him; deflecting the energy blast. Back on his feet, Daikaioh rushed for Majin Buu, before teleporting behind him, and landing a massive kick, knocking Majin Buu forward.
Despite this, three swords would form from Majin Buu's back, beginning to surround him, before he pointed forward and all three flew towards Daikaioh. Daikaioh only grit his teeth, before swatting one away with his bare hand, then the next with his forearm, with it slicing him only slightly, finally, he caught the last one, before tossing back towards Buu. Buu's body only split in two, dodging the attack and nearly hitting Bibidi, before bringing both parts together again. Holding out his hand, Majin Buu formed four smaller swords from between his fingers; before backhanding and tossing them back at Daikaioh like throwing knives.
Daikaioh prepared himself, only for Majin Buu to suddenly teleport behind him, and pull him into a Full-Nelson. Thinking quickly, Daikaioh activated his barrier, again, simultaneously throwing Buu off of him and blocking the swords.
It took a moment for Majin Buu to get back on his feet, before holding his arms forward and preparing a massive blast with both hands.
"This is over!" Daikaioh shouted, before taking a deep breath and firing his most powerful attack from his mouth; overpowering what energy Buu had gathered and attacking him head-on.
Now breathing hard, Daikaioh walked over to what remained of Majin Buu, somberly looking down at the monster.
"I'm sorry." he stated flatly.
"Hee-hee-hee-hee-hee!" Bibidi cackled. "You mean you will be sorry! Now, Buu!"
Before Daikaioh could react, the remains of Buu quickly took form, latching onto his feet, and traveling up his legs, before slowly completely covering him then blowing out steam. When the steam disappeared, all that remained was a tall, well-built Majin Buu, now sporting a black vest and purple cape.
"Excellent! Excellent, Majin Buu! Now that those pesky Supreme Kai are dealt with, the universe is mine!" Bibidi laughed, dancing around in celebration. "Now! What do you say we find a new planet to destroy! I've been eyeing one called Earth! Shall we go?"
"No."
"...What did you say?"
Yes... Finally, after years and years of death and destruction, something in Majin Buu had finally changed. Maybe it was Daikaioh's words that resonated with him, or perhaps the inherent 'good' within the five Supreme Kai's had finally overcome the inherent evil within Majin Buu. Either way, Majin Buu's perspective was finally changed.
"I said, 'no'. No more destruction. No more killing without reason... What we're doing, what we've been doing is wrong... This isn't right, we can't keep doing this..."
Bibidi couldn't believe what he was hearing, shouting with all his anger against the Majin. "You stupid... ugly... foolish little freak! If you ever speak to me like that again, I swear, I will-"
Majin Buu squinted his eyes, raising his hand and forming a large ki blast, causing Bibidi to stop speaking immediately, instead awkwardly laughing.
"...Is what I'd be saying, if I didn't... completely agree! R-right, Buu?"
Majin Buu said nothing, instead continuing to charge his blast.
"Right..? Come now, Buu... 'No killing!' You said it yourself-"
"No killing without reason... and besides..." Majin Buu grinned. "Majin Buu doesn't do anything he doesn't want to do..."
"Nuwemwitts-"
Before he could finish speaking the Sealing Spell, Bibidi was vaporized, as was his control over Majin Buu. Leaving behind a different Majin Buu, in many ways.
Now free, this newly-dubbed Supreme Buu would wander the stars, using his power and wisdom to reshape the world for the better. Before any destruction there would be creation, and after every destruction, there would be creation. In an interesting way, Supreme Buu would take a position nearly resembling a God of Destruction: only destroying when necessary.
This is a story I have... mixed thoughts on. On one hand, to see such a monster of pure evil become a great ally is wonderful... but at the cost of so many, I cannot call this story a victory. I look closely at the example Daikaioh set, and how sometimes, it's better to use our words, instead of our fists. But sometimes, just like in Daikaioh's case, our words may simply not be enough. It's truly difficult to say one way or the other. I am the Supreme Kai of Time, and these are the Tales of the Xenoverse.
